Michael Urie, the gang at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center are back to make it through any obstacle together. Christa Miller, Luke Tennie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley also star in the comedy series. The third season of Shrinking will premiere on January 28 with a one-hour episode. Apple TV released the first trailer of Shrinking Season 3 with the caption, "Moving forward, together. Shrinking Season 3 premieres January 28 on Apple TV." Created by Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, Shrinking first premiered on January 27, 2023. Thesecond season was released on December 24, 2024.

In the critically acclaimed series, Segel plays widower Jimmy, a therapist who begins to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks as he deals with his own grief in the wake of his wife's tragic death. He begins to inspire others to make big changes in their lives, sometimes for the better. In the trailer, Jimmy has made peace with Louis (Brett Goldstein), the drunk driver responsible for his wife's car accident.As his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell) gets ready to go off to college, Jimmy decides he might be open for a new romance. Meanwhile, Harrison Ford's Dr. Paul Rhoades has important choices to make regarding his Parkinson's. With new life changes, the gang sticks by one another like family. Jimmy is more optimistic this time around as he states, "Maybe happiness is not this impossible thing; you just have to choose it." Besides returning guest star Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Segel's How I Met Your Mother co-star Cobie Smulders also return. Special guest stars Jeff Daniels and Emmy winner and activist Michael J. Fox are also part of the third season of Apple TV's Shrinking.
