Akshaye Khanna Quits Dhrishyam 3: Real Reason Behind Dhurandhar Actor's Exit Revealed

Amid the buzz, fans are eagerly awaiting his next project. However, recent reports claim he has walked out of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Drishyam 3. While many suspected creative differences or dissatisfaction with the script, the real reason reportedly had to do with his remuneration. He has become the next big thing. Realising the same, he decided to revise his fees. Accordingly, he asked for Rs 21 crores from the makers of Drishyam 3.”They added that the makers of Drishyam 3 were taken aback and tried to reason with Khanna, explaining that paying him such a huge amount would push the film over budget. However, he felt justified in his demand, knowing his presence now significantly increased the film’s buzz. After the negotiations didn’t work out, the actor decided to walk away from the project amicably. He reportedly wished the makers luck with the film.The report further states that Akshaye and the makers had disagreements on a few other fronts as well. Another source told the portal, “One of them was that Akshaye suggested that he'd like to wear a wig. The makers were not comfortable with the idea, probably because he was without a wig in the second part.”Both parties are yet to release an official statement regarding the exit. Notably, Akshaye's Dhurandhar co-star Ranveer Singh has reportedly made a similar decision. If the reports are true, he is no longer part of Farhan Akhtar's ambitious project, Don 3.
