The television show that aired in 2009 also featured Gaurav Khanna, who is currently competing for the Bigg Boss 19 trophy. Yami played the role of Leher Mathur. About Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam

Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam was popular among the audience. It followed Leher and Abeer’s love story set against the backdrop of caste politics and class differences. The show was set in Lucknow. Abeer, a Brahmin, falls in love with Leher, a Kayastha. They fight their own families for love. It focused on the dialogue around society’s obsession with caste and class. Eventually, they tie the knot. While Yami moved to Bollywood after Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, Gaurav continued working on Indian television. The actress is busy promoting Haq, whereas the actor is in the race for the Bigg Boss 19 trophy. Haq is Yami’s first theatrical release after the birth of her and Aditya Dhar’s son, Vedavid, in 2024. She shot the film a few months after welcoming her baby boy.
