Rangaraj and Joy Crizildaa have been engaged in a legal battle since the last few weeks, with the latter accusing the actor-turned-chef of cheating and physical assault. Now, the fashion stylist has taken to social media to announce the birth of her son. In addition to it, she has also tagged the baby's father, Madhampatty Rangaraj, despite the on-going court case.

Joy Crizildaa shared the news on her Instagram story. Joy Crizildaa's post, which she said, "We, @MadhampattyRR and I are blessed with a baby boy #madhampattyrangaraj #chefrangaraj #chefmadhampattyrangaraj."Joy Crizildaa on Wednesday approached the Chennai Family Welfare Court seeking a monthly maintenance amount of Rs 6.5 lakh to cover her medical expenses, house rent, and other necessities, declaring that she was in the final month of pregnancy and is unable to continue her work commitments.

The two have been entangled in controversies since they got married earlier this year, with Joy Crizildaa announcing her pregnancy soon after. Within weeks, Joy Crizildaa filed a police complaint within weeks, alleging that he abandoned her, concealed the presence of his first wife and cheated her into marrying him. She also reportedly stated that he had tricked many women like her.

In response, the chef filed a civil suit restraining Joy Crizildaa from making false, malicious and defamatory statements against him in any form of media including reels, videos, photos or captions. He also sought an interim direction to her to remove his name and any content that defames him online.In a lengthy statement, Madhampatty Rangaraj wrote that several individuals approached him to settle the matter outside the court of law. However, he underlined his faith in the judicial system, noting that "the truth will be established in accordance with law." One has to note that Madhampatty Rangaraj is currently married to Shruti. They have two kids together.
