Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan will reportedly stream on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run. Adding to the excitement, the new announcement shared by the makers has revealed that Zee Tamil has bagged the satellite rights.

Vijay's film will revolve around two crucial characters. One is a hero who fights for the people; the other is a powerful enemy who thrives on control. Their paths cross ways and ignites a show down. A part of the story centers on a child's unspoken wound, which reopens old chapters and draws the protagonist, a former police officer, into a bigger struggle that goes beyond revenge. If reports are to be believed, Jana Nayagan will have a run time of 3 hours and 6 minutes, with the final portions
showing visuals as a tribute to the actor's glorious film career. This lengthy run time comes second only to Vijay and director Shankar's Nanban, the screening time for it was 3 hours and 8 minutes.Following the release of Thalapathy Katcheri, the second single from Jana Nayagan, Oru Pere Varalaaru, is now out. The song has already crossed 12 million views on YouTube. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Oru Pere Varalaaru is an electrifying number, which features Vijay as the unsung hero of people. Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol.
