Dhurandhar has not been officially released in Pakistan. The Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt starrer, which hit Indian cinemas on December 5, remains unavailable in Pakistani theatres or on official local platforms. While some Pakistani viewers have seen clips online or via unofficial means, the film isn’t officially distributed or released there. The movie was also blocked in other regions like the Gulf due to concerns about its themes.

In reaction, the Sindh Information Department announced its own film project titled Mera Lyari, which it says will offer a more positive and 'authentic' portrayal of Lyari, focusing on culture and resilience rather than violence. Mera Lyari is expected to release in January 2026.
