Ajith's Racing Career Project Confirmed! Director AL Vijay To Capture 'Do Or Die' Moments

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar, who is currently winning praise for following his passion of venturing into racing, is in Malaysia participating in the international racing series. Fans and motor sports enthusiasts

are thrilled to see Ajith's incredible performance at the circuit. Now, for those who wish to witness this chapter on screen, here's a good news. A project on Ajith's racing career is currently in the works. Director AL Vijay known for helming films such as Deiva Thirumagal and Thalaiva is directing the project.

Project On Ajith's Racing Career Is Currently Being Filmed By AL Vijay, Director Calls Himself 'Fortunate'

In an interview with Motor Vikatan, AL Vijay confirmed to be working on the project. He said "As soon as I came on board, Ajith sir said "welcome to my world". Al Vijay also said the world of racing is a do or die situation. Elaborating about Ajith's insights into his racing career he said "Ajith sir told me you need to come out alive end of the race". He didn't confirm if this will be a film or a documentary.

Further talking about his understanding about the world of motor sports he said "After seeing him live in action, the respect I have towards him increased. And Ajith sir is giving so much into the sport. He is going to be a motor sport icon in India. Ajith sir is a trendsetter." He went on to praise Ajith's endurance and dedication to it "Filming the project is a new experience, but what we are witnessing here is truly challenging. When I saw Ajith sir, he seemed like he was talking a break, but in reality he wasn't, he was actually thinking about the race." He went on to call Ajith as a star who works without his entourage. "I saw him picking papers and putting it in the dustbin... such is his humility."

The pre-production of his next major project, tentatively titled AK64, is moving at a brisk pace under the direction of Aadhik Ravichandran. The film is expected to go on floors by February 2026. An official announcement is awaited.
