When Ocean's Eleven released in 2001, little did one know that it would turn into one of the most successful franchises, spanning two more sequels. But perhaps it should not have been surprising considering

And now, according to George Clooney members of the original cast are all set to make a comeback in a planned Ocean's Eleven sequel.
Ocean's Eleven Sequel To Have OG Cast
Speaking to Variety, the actor revealed that he plans to revive the
Ocean's Eleven franchise but instead of a nostalgia play, he wants to wants to explore what it’s like to pull off a heist when the cast is no longer young and spry. According to the report, Clooney was inspired by the movie Going in Style, a ’70s comedy about a group of aging criminals. The actor has brought on board the original cast and enlisted Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and Don Cheadle to return as an older and wiser gang for the next film. According to the actor, they are looking at locations and hope to start shooting from October 2026.

“There was something about the idea that we’re too old to do what we used to do, but we’re still smart enough to know how to get away with something, that just appeals to me,” Clooney revealed about the possible plot for the Ocean’s Eleven sequel, adding, “They’ve lost a step, and they need to find a way to work around their limitations.”On the work front, George Clooney will next be seen in the film In Love, a low-budget drama in which he will star alongside Annette Benings as a man with Alzheimer's.
