During a candid conversation with NDTV, Asha Parekh said, "Sunny looks very much like him and is also a very emotional person like Dharam ji. I have lovely memories of the Deol family." While talking about his eldest daughter Vijeta Deol, she said, "She is a wonderful person, and a very strong woman." Asha further spoke on her relationship with Dharmendra, recalling her rare meetings with the actor as she said, "It was very kind of him to come to the launch of my book, The Hit Girl. We were not very much in touch, but we did two reality shows together. And now, it has been reported that the Deol brothers are planning to visit Dharmendra's farmhouse on his 90th birth anniversary. According to a media report, fans might be allowed to pay their respects and meet the late actor's family. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ikkis will be Dharmendra's posthumous film release. Co-starring Agastya Nanda, the film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025.
