Tiwari’s much-awaited film, Ramayana Part 1, has kickstarted its promotions in full swing. After conducting an event in the US, the makers released the teaser of Ramayana featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama on YouTube. The Ramayana teaser has been getting mixed to positive responses from the masses. Vindu Dara Singh, who is the son of late actor Dara Singh, known for playing Hanuman in Ramanand Sagar’s show, Ramayan, in the 80s, has praised the Ranbir Kapoor film’s teaser and said that it will break records if it matches the standards of the TV series.

Vindu Dara Singh Reacts To Ramayana Teaser

During an interview with DNA, Vindu Dara Singh opened up about the Ramayana teaser featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama. He said that it looks spectacular and very beautiful. However, there is a strict rule. According to him, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan was loved by all, and it eventually became historic. Vindu feels if the makers managed to match the level of Ramayan with a new interpretation of Ramayana, it will become a record-breaking hit. The Bigg Boss 3 winner further stated that if they make the film with too much liberty, people will reject it. For the unversed, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan featured Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia, Sunil Lahri and Dara Singh in key roles.

While praising the VFX, the actor said, “Namit Malhotra knows how to ace visuals. So special effects will be mind-blowing, but if they have not followed Sagar Saab's Ramayan, then it will create a major problem for them." Vindu Dara Singh also praised Ranbir Kapoor and said that he looks fantastic as Lord Rama.

While concluding the chat, Dara Singh’s son confessed that Nitesh Tiwari’s vision is way better than Prabhas’ Adipurush.

About Ramayana

Ramayana is being made in two parts. It will show the journey of Lord Rama’s birth to defeating Ravana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the Namit Malhotra-produced film also features Ravie Dubey, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Yash, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Indira Krishnan and others in key roles. Ramayana – Part 1 will release in theatres on Diwali 2026. The second installment will be released on Diwali 2027. The experts feel that Ramayana is expected to break records set by Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar franchise. Dhurandhar has been directed by Aditya Dhar and it also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in key roles. Stay tuned for more updates!
