a theatrical release in the United States, Bugonia is arriving in Indian cinemas on October 31, 2025. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the film stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. It follows the story of two men who kidnap a powerful CEO in the basement of their home, suspecting that she is secretly an alien who wants to destroy Earth. Ahead of Bugonia's release, Emma exclusively told Zoom about the film being shot in a basement.

Emma, who has produced the film with Yorgos, told us, "It has that sort of microcosmic quality. There’s a sort of insanity and a commentary in the midst of a really small environment, which I think Yorgos tends to be drawn to."She further mentioned, "We're in a basement, and it’s really just people talking to each other a lot of the time, having perspectives that feel maybe incorrect or twisted.
