At the film's promotional event, Gunasekhar spoke about the growing trend of audiences skipping theatres in anticipation of digital releases, the filmmaker stressed that his latest project is made exclusively for the big screen. According to him, releasing Euphoria online would remove the emotional experience he has worked hard to create. Gunasekhar stated that the film caters to theatre-going audiences and delivers complete value to those who choose to watch it in theatres. He also appealed to family audiences to support theatrical viewing instead of postponing it for an OTT release.
Talking about the intention behind Euphoria, Gunasekhar said it is just entertainment. The National award-winning filmmaker believes the film offers an experience that audiences will carry back home. He mentioned that audience of today often walk into theatres with preconceived notions and later feel disappointed. To avoid that, he urged audiences to watch Euphoria with an open mind. The director also reflected on how earlier films enjoyed long theatrical runs, while today’s quick OTT releases have changed audience habits.

The story of Euphoria revolves around Vindhya Vemulapalli, played by Bhumika Chawla, the principal of one of the city’s top colleges. In a shocking move, she approaches the High Court and files a case against herself. This unexpected confession raises several questions. What crime has she committed? Why would a respected academician take the blame publicly? And how is this decision connected to Chaitra, portrayed by Sara Arjun? With a runtime of two hours and thirty minutes the story focuses on parenting and moral responsibility, making it a hard-hitting social drama.
Euphoria OTT Release: Cast
Euphoria marks Gunasekhar’s return to direction after three years. Sara Arjun, known for Dhurandhar, makes her Telugu debut, though she earlier appeared as a child artist in Dagudumootha Dandakor. The ensemble cast includes Nassar, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likhita Yalamanchali, Addala Prudhviraj, Kalpa Latha, Ravi Prakash, and others. Kaala Bhairava has composed the music, while cinematography is handled by Praveen K Pothan and editing by Prawin Pudi.
