Amid sky-high expectations, theories about the plot of Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh’s spy drama sequel have been doing the rounds on social media. His aim

is to enter Pakistan’s most dangerous terror groups and gather information from the inside. For this risky task, he chooses a young man from Punjab who has nothing to lose. As part of Mission Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh’s character takes on the identity of Hamza Mazari and becomes a trusted member of the Baloch gang.

Hamza carries out his plan to kill Lyari’s Sher-e-Baloch, Rehman Dakait, with the help of Sanjay Dutt’s SP Aslam Chaudhry. To keep their deal a secret, he pretends to be deeply shaken by Rehman’s death in front of Uzair Baloch, Rehman’s cousin, who is set to take control of Karachi. Remember when Hamza told Yaalina that he wanted to rule all of Karachi? This hints that he has taken the first step towards achieving that goal.Before the ending, Hamza wakes up and opens a secret diary that was given to him by another Indian spy. He erases Rehman’s name, showing that his story is over. He then turns the page to reveal several powerful names, including ISI officer Major Iqbal. In the final scene, Sanyal explains the larger plan, making it clear that this mission is only the beginning.Dhurandhar 2 - What To Expect?While Dhurandhar focused on Hamza’s secret mission in Pakistan, the sequel is expected to delve deeper into his identity. As teased in the ending scene, Part 2 will explore the backstory of Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

R Madhavan has also confirmed that his character will have a much bigger role in the sequel. "My screen presence is limited in the first part. But in the second part, which will release in March, there is a lot of my character as he trains Ranveer’s character in the skills of espionage warfare," he said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. Apart from this, the sequel will also focus on Hamza’s next move. How will he take control of Lyari without putting himself in danger? Will Uzair Baloch discover who killed his brother Rehman? Are Major Iqbal and SP Aslam Chaudhry aware of the infiltrator? Will Alina find out her husband's truth? All these questions and more will be answered in Dhurandhar 2.The film is set to release in theatres on March 19.
