The teaser was unveiled on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, April 2, by Namit Malhotra. The two-and-a-half-minute teaser offers a window into the grand world of this two-part epic, based on Valmiki's ancient writings. Expectedly, the teaser has sent the internet into a frenzy, with fans and film industry stars all rushing to share their reactions.

The teaser drew big reactions from Bollywood celebrities almost immediately after it dropped. Karan Johar shared his excitement on his Instagram Story, writing, "CANNOT WAIT!!!!
