Govinda has once again reacted to his wife, Sunita Ahuja’s statements made during a recent interview. The actor-turned-politician addressed speculations of being in an extramarital affair, allegedly with
a woman named Komal. Sunita, in yet another explosive interaction with a media portal, claimed that her family life was disrupted in 2025, and after hearing some things about her husband, she was not happy. In a latest statement, Govinda denied trouble in his married life and claimed his wife has been drawn into a deep-rooted conspiracy. Previously, when Sunita accused a family priest of taking whopping fees to perform puja, Govinda condemned her claims and came on record about it.
Govinda dismisses claims of disrupted family life
In a fresh statement reacting to Sunita’s new interview, Govinda told ANI, “What I've been observing lately is that sometimes when we don't speak, we either appear weak or it seems like we are simply the problem... So, today, I'm responding. I was told that the people in my family might be unknowingly involved, and they won't realise that they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy... But she [Sunita] can never think that she herself has been unknowingly placed in a big conspiracy, with her being thrown into the field as the opening batsman.”
He added, “To ruin someone's reputation in society and impose something on them, like how, in the beginning, a very dangerous man had accused me, and that man got exposed too later. When your popularity in the film industry goes beyond a certain point, many people come forward to destroy you. I pray to God that He removes me from this problem, and I also pray for the welfare of my children... I pray that there is no misunderstanding and that I don't get suffocated... I make a humble request, especially to my own family.”
What Sunita Ahuja said in latest interview
Talking to Miss Malini’s reporter, Sunita said, “The year 2025 was a disaster for me. My family life was disrupted. I was hearing things about Govinda. I was not happy with the things I was hearing about him. There is a age to do certain things and at 63 to hear these things, it is not good, especially when your kids are grown up. In 2026, I just hope bhagwan Govinda ko sadbuddhi de. He must understand that family is family, and when you are in trouble, nobody stands beside you. They are only there for money. Once you stop giving the money, they will go.”She also shared, “It is important to have faith in your spouse. Once you lose that trust, the marriage doesn’t last. These days, divorce and infidelity have become very common. It is not good according to me.”Govinda, an actor, married Sunita, his ladylove, in 1987. They have two children, a daughter named Tina, and a son, Yashvardhan.
