Ameesha Patel, in her X handle, wrote that she is coming back to Mumbai from New York through an Emirates flight. Since it is a connecting flight, it was supposed to land at
Dubai International Airport. However, due to fresh missile attacks, the airspace in the UAE has been closed. In the tweet, she wrote, “We have now been diverted to MUSCAT and are awaiting further updates.” The actress is praying for everyone’s safety and wants this ongoing war to end soon.
Ameesha Patel’s tweet is going viral on social media, and netizens have been reacting to it in the comments section. Many netizens prayed for her and other people’s safety. They also expressed their concern for Ameesha and the passengers. Earlier, when the war started, many celebrities from India, such as Ajith, Sonal Chauhan and others, were stranded in Dubai and other Middle Eastern countries. Now, they are safely back in India. The ongoing war in the Middle East has affected the economy of many countries. Moreover, the import-export between the countries was also affected due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which comes under the control of Iran. Fortunately, Indian ships are being allowed to pass the Strait of Hormuz due to cordial relations with the three countries who are included in the war.
