Battle of Galwan, Apoorva Lakhia’s war drama based on the Galwan Valley clash, is one of the most-awaited films of the year. After an underwhelming response to Sikandar, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has poured all his energy into this project and fans are eager to see what he has in store. The makers had already unveiled its official teaser and first song, Maatrubhumi. Now, a romantic track from the film has been released. Titled Main Hoon, it also features actress Chitrangda Singh. About Battle Of GalwanBattle of Galwan brings to the screen the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley in June 2020, highlighting the courage and determination of the Indian Army. In the war drama, Salman essays the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, who led from the front. He was posthumously honoured with the Maha Vir Chakra for his bravery. The film pays tribute to the sacrifices made by soldiers in extreme conditions.Battle Of Galwan Release DateBattle of Galwan is currently slated for release on April 17. However, reports suggest the film may face a delay to avoid a box-office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla, with a possible postponement to Independence Day.For those unaware, the film’s shoot is still underway. The makers are also planning to reshoot certain key sequences, which could further add to the delay. While the project is expected to wrap up this month, the reshoots may take longer.
