Nolan’s The Odyssey just got even more exciting! First-look images of Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Mia Goth from the upcoming epic action-fantasy are out. Holland steps into the role of Telemachus, Mia Goth appears as Melantho, and Hathaway stuns as Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, all building anticipation for the film’s highly awaited 2026 release.

Empire Magazine has released the first-ever looks of Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway and Mia Goth, for their upcoming release The Odyssey, a Christopher Nolan saga. Tom Holland is seen in an armored mythical look, playing Telemachus, son of Odysseus. Another picture is of Anne Hathaway and Mia Goth, dressed as Penelope, the wife of Odysseus and Melantho, one of the maids in Odysseus' palace who serves Penelope, respectively.

Meanwhile, The Mia is working with Nolan for the first time. Actors like Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Elliot Page, or Lupita Nyong'o, are also expected to play pivotal roles in the film. Earlier on November 13, Matt Damon's look, who will play the role of Odysseus, sparked anticipation on the film's release on the internet.

More about the film

The Odyssey will be distributed by Universal Pictures, marking Nolan's comeback to the studio after their previous Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer (2023). While Nolan has written the screenplay, his wife Emma Thomas is set to produce it under their Syncopy banner. The Odyssey is expected to release in theatres on July 17, 2026.
