Lakshya, Janhvi Kapoor Shoot Romantic Scene For Karan Johar's Action Film Lag Jaa Gale At Marine Drive

Janhvi Kapoor and Tiger Shroff are headlining the upcoming Dharma Productions film, reportedly titled Lag Jaa Gale. Raj Mehta, who directed films such as Good Newwz and Jugjugg Jeeyo, is helming the action movie. The shooting has commenced in Mumbai, reportedly in December 2025. Recently, Janhvi and Lakshya were spotted at Marine Drive. In a viral video, they were seen filming a romantic scene in the evening, amid tight security, a large crew, and directors of photography. Lag Jaa Gale is Lakshya, Janhvi and Tiger’s first film together. Karan Johar is producing it under Dharma Productions. It is yet to be announced officially.

In the viral video, Janhvi and Lakshya can be seen filming a romantic scene, seated on the promenade. Dressed casually, the actor’s new look for the film was leaked. Lakshya was last seen in The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. Janhvi’s previous film was Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Tiger plays the antagonist in Lag Jaa Gale.

A source close to Lag Ja Gale told Mid-Day, “Lag Jaa Gale is going to be shot in a start-to-end schedule, from December to March, in Mumbai. The actors have given block dates to Raj, who is keen to wrap up the film by March end.” The source added, “It’s going to be an out-and-out actioner with enough drama between the three primary characters to ground the film. The action sequences between Lakshya and Tiger, who both excel in this genre, are being envisioned as the film’s highlights. The theme of revenge forms the core of the film.” After The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Lakshya returned to the sets of Chand Mera Dil with Ananya Panday. The film releases in 2026. On the other hand, Janhvi has been shooting for Peddi with Ram Charan down South. Tiger, who had Baaghi 4’s release in 2025, is reportedly in talks with Ram Madhvani for a spiritual actioner.
