With only two episodes, Pluribus has already won over audiences with its unique storytelling. Created by Vince Gilligan, the Apple TV series follows Carol Sturka, played by Rhea Seehorn, as the only woman
in America who is immune to a worldwide alien virus that turns humanity into a collective hive mind. The cynical romance writer has to figure out how to undo the effects of the devastating virus. The creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul has a brief plan in mind, but here's why he deferred to the lead actress of the show when it came to the future of the show.

The filmmaker attended PaleyFest NY after the release of the Apple TV series on November 7. On the red carpet, Gilligan was already being grilled on future seasons for the sci-fi show. He told Variety, "Take it with a grain of salt because when people asked me at this point in the run of Breaking Bad how long it should go, I would say two or three seasons. And then it wound up going six, which I think was perfect.”

He added, "I'd love to see Pluribus go as long as Rhea Seehorn wants it to go. I'm really doing it, as much as anybody; I'm doing it for her. She deserves to be the megastar that she is. I want the world to understand how great she is. And I want her to be as happy with this show as she could possibly be. And yeah, I don't know. At this point, maybe four seasons, I'm guessing, but who the hell knows?ALSO READ: Why Vince Gilligan's New Apple TV Series Pluribus Starring Rhea Seehorn Has 'Made By Humans' CreditThe nine-episode show is set to conclude on December 26.
