Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi is returning with its fifteenth season. After two years, the stunt-based reality show is gearing up to air on television. Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was scheduled to go on floors in 2025, but it got delayed. The reality bi-weekly show has never skipped a year and would premiere after Bigg Boss concluded. However, the makers made their loyal audience wait for two years. Rohit is expected to return as the host. Colors released the first AI-generated promo of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 on Instagram. The contestants' list is yet to be disclosed.

Why was Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 postponed?

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was scheduled to go on floors by mid-2025. But, in April 2025, Banijay Asia’s exit as the producer delayed the show. According to reports, the production house that backed Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss ended its contract with Colors channel. Some participants were already locked for the stunt-based reality show. Following the internal shuffle, its future was uncertain.

A source close to the production house revealed that Bigg Boss 19 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 would move from Colors and air on Sony TV. However, the shows have been retained on the former channel. While Bigg Boss 19 was backed by Banijay Asia, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is also on track once again. Internal conflicts between Banijay Asia and Endemol were said to be the root cause of the delay. By mid-2025, Colors had reportedly started looking for another production house to back the show. It seems the tension has been resolved.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 probable contestants

Former Bigg Boss contestants Avinash Mishra and Isha Malviya had almost been confirmed. Even Bigg Boss 18 fame Chum Darang was expected to participate, according to a source who informed Zoom about the development. Rumours were rife that Munawar Faruqui, Orry, Isha Malviya, Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani and boxer Neeraj Goyat were also in the contestants' list. Gaurav Khanna, who won Bigg Boss 19, was reportedly in talks for the show. He had won Celebrity MasterChef India season 1 back then. Gulki Joshi and Digvijay Rathee, along with singer Sreerama Chandra was also offered the show.

Karan Veer Mehra was the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in 2024. Krishna Shroff became the first runner-up and Gashmeer Mahajani emerged as the second runner-up of the show.
