Bo-Ah is pregnant. The South Korean actress, loved for her K-dramas like Dear Hingrang, Destined With You, Tale of the Nine Tailed and Military Prosecutor Doberman announced of expecting her first child with her non-celebrity husband, due next year. The couple got married in October 2024.On November 25, Bo-Ah's agency XYG Studio released an official statement to confirm the happy news. The company shared that the 34-year-old was in her second trimester and stable. She is expected to give birth in late winter next year.

The agency statement read, "A precious new life has come to Jo Bo Ah. We kindly ask for your warm support and blessings as you watch over her. We ask for your understanding that we cannot disclose further details such as the due. We would like to express our deep gratitude to everyone who has always shown Jo Bo-ah love and support, and she plans to repay it with great acting after her return."

Jo Bo-Ah had in 2024 surprised fans by announcing marriage. She tied the knot with a man reportedly an ordinary office worker on October 12, 2024.

On the work front

After some small appearances, Jo Bo-Ah landed her first major role in 2012 K-drama Shut Up Flower Boy Band. She later appeared in titles like Temperature of Love, Goodbye to Goodbye, My Strange Hero, and Forest.Her breakthrough came with 2020 show Tale of the Nine Tailed opposite Lee Dong-Wook. She followed her success with more roles in Military Prosecutor Doberman (2022) along with Ahn Bo-Hyun, and Destined With You (2023) with Rowoon. In 2025, she played the female lead in Dear Hongrang, also starring Lee Jae-Wook.Jo Bo-Ah wrapped up filming for Disney+ highly anticipated series Knock Off alongside Kim Soo-Hyun.
