Vishal Bhardwaj Recreates Spain In Mumbai For Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri's O'Romeo: Report

Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri teamed up for Vishal Bhardwaj’s high-octane action thriller O'Romeo. The shoot wrapped up in Spain in August, with a high-voltage climax sequence featuring Kapoor and Avinash

Tiwary. As the film entered the post-production stage, the makers announced its title and unveiled the first poster. The movie is titled O’ Romeo and is scheduled to release in theatres on Valentine’s Day 2026. The film, which went on floors in January, completed its final leg of shooting last week at Bahubali Studios in Borivali and fans are excited.

Source close to the film's crew revealed how in the movie, a close face-off of Shahid and Avinash will wow fans. They said, "They wrapped the close-up shots [of the] duel. The primary shots were done in Spain. Vishal sir wanted the finale to feel explosive, so the team recreated a realistic environment inside the studio, giving him total control over lighting and stunts." "Both actors rehearsed it for a few days to get the rhythm right. Apparently, Bhardwaj wanted to shoot this final piece discreetly in Mumbai. Only the core crew and action unit were on set," added the insider.

O'Romeo marks their fourth project together. Earlier, Shahid shared a black-and-white photo with Vishal on social media, showing the duo in discussion behind a monitor. The actor penned a long emotional note. In the film, Shahid will be seen working with Triptii Dimri and Disha Patani.
