of the much-awaited films of the year, Supergirl, has released a new trailer. The Milly Alcock starrer has been creating a solid buzz amongst the masses since its inception. And now, the trailer is out with a release date that will surely increase excitement amongst the fans. Supergirl’s trailer ups the emotional experience for viewers as Kara is seen going to the end of the universe for her pet dog, Krypto. The character of Ruthye Marye Knoll’s inclusion also adds a different touch to the story.
Supergirl trailer review
In the trailer, Kara is seen emotionally attached to Krypto. One fine day, the evil Krem shoots Krypto, leaving him gravely injured. Now, Kara has only the option to find an antidote to save Krypto. She will also be helping Ruthye, who also hopes to avenge the death of her parents at the hands of Krem of the Yellow Hills. During their journey to find Krem, they will both answer Jimmy Ruffin’s question, ‘What becomes of the brokenhearted?’ Well, the song indeed gives the trailer a fair amount of reverence. It clashes with the film’s action and humour. A brief cameo by Superman himself, played by David Corenswet, adds extra spark to the trailer.
Moreover, Jason Momoa as Lobo will also be entering the narrative to add the touch of action and humour. The final shot of the trailer will excite fans to watch Supergirl in theatres on June 26, 2026. DC Universe makers don’t want to leave any stone unturned to make Supergirl one of the biggest hits in the world.
