As viewers settle into the first month of 2026, HBO has rolled out its big release of the year with A Knight for the Seven Kingdoms. Also arriving this week is the second season of Drops of God on January
21 on Apple TV. Based on the popular Japanese manga, the live-action series has won the International Emmy Award for Season 1. On January 22, Shingo Yamashita’s directorial debut, Cosmic Princess Kaguya! releases on Netflix. The animated musical film sees a high school student from Tokyo helping a mysterious girl from the moon, named Kaguya, turn into a popular streamer and performer. And finally, the period romance Gustaakh Ishq, starring Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Naseeruddin Shah, makes its OTT debut on January 23 on JioHotstar.
