Mohit Yadav on 'red flags' in pitches
In conversation with us, Mohit stated that there are two to three things which are red flag for him. "One is, I believe, people are very smart, and as a brand in a very new age when people are so well-connected, you can't mis-sell. So if someone is mis-selling because of people's lack of awareness and all those things, that is a big red flag. I think we saw one such case in episode one also," he said.
The Shark Tank India 5 judge further mentioned the second thing he considers as a red flag. "Second is the focus on product.I believe the market is becoming very competitive, and you just can't win with a good product. You need to be really obsessed with your product and consumer."Talking about the last thing, Mohit told Zoom, "And the last would be your focus or hold on numbers, because beyond the first two things, business is built on financial discipline and numbers. So probably in that order, from the mis-selling to the product focus and then lastly the number."
