Charan’s upcoming film, Peddi, is finally releasing on June 4. The trailer of the sports drama was supposed to be launched in Bhopal; however, as per the latest development, the makers have planned to move it to Mumbai. While the trailer event will not be happening there, the director Buchi Babu Sana assured that the team would be launching a song instead. The event will be hosted on a grand scale, and the preliminary recce has been done already. Peddi also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead opposite Ram Charan.

In a statement,
Buchi Babu Sana spoke about the Bhopal song launch event and said the plan is to do something on a big scale. “We all strongly felt that launching a special song from the movie with a grand musical event would be the right way to go. We want to do the biggest musical event in Bhopal,” he said before adding that the preliminary recce has been done and the team enjoyed staying in the city. “We strongly believe that we will reach the heart of every Indian from the heart of India,” he concluded.

As per reports, Peddi is set against a rustic rural backdrop and reportedly blends sports, action, and emotional family drama. Ram Charan is playing a rugged, determined wrestler from a village who rises through intense personal and societal struggles, with the story revolving around ambition, identity, and redemption through sport.
Ram Charan's fitness regime for Peddi
In an exclusive interview with Zoom,
Ram Charan's trainer, Rakkesh R Uddiyar, revealed his fitness regime for the film. He revealed that the actor would start the day with cardio after 12 hours of intermittent fasting. He was put on a special carb cycling, a dietary regimen that alternates high-carb days with low-carb days. Mixing weight training, such as chest, shoulder and triceps, with ‘kushti’ training as he will be seen in the role of a wrestler, the celebrity fitness trainer shared that he had his personal physiotherapists on sets, who would assist him with the myofascial release therapy.
