Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with
Zoom, Aditya Uppal reacted to the film being called '
propaganda'. The actor, who plays Omar Haider in
Dhurandhar 2, stated that the film's intent is pure and that it has been made with sincerity and honesty."Even if some people interpret certain aspects differently, that’s their perspective and it should be respected. The majority of the audience has appreciated the film and understands that while it is inspired by true events, it is still a cinematic adaptation. I would just say that before calling it propaganda, people should watch it with an open mind," he said.

Dhurandhar The Revenge brings back Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal, Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam, R Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal, and Rakesh Bedi as Jameel Jamali. As for Sara Arjun, she reprises her character of Yalina Jamali. Danish Pandor plays Uzair Baloch, while Danish Iqbal is seen as Bade Sahab (Dawood Ibrahim). Manav Gohil and Saumya Tandon also reprise their characters, Bansal and Ulfat, from part one.
