Haq cleared in UAE with zero cuts
In an exclusive chat with Times Now Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar, Yami revealed that no cuts were made in Haq for UAE release and that it carries a 15+ rating. She said, “This is the first time I am sharing, ki is film ko UAE main in terms of censorship there are no cuts and it is 15 plus. Meaning it is watchable for all. Toh agar waha koi problem nahi hai that means this film is not here to antagonise anyone from any faith. Isse bada evidence atleast bethe bethe bina film release ke toh dena thoda mushkil hai. You are not making film about one community.”The actress also opened up about the importance of fostering clean, constructive debate in a society she described as increasingly divided and polarised. She added, “Bilkul zarurat hai. Abhi hum Haq film ki baat kar rahe hai jo concept hai film ka, jo subject hai. Agar debate na ho aur discussion na ho — it’s dead, doesn’t mean anything then. So the fact ki debate hai, not with an intention that ki kuch controversy karte hai. Wo wala PR na aapko jarurat hai na humein jarurat hai. Humne ek simple kahani kahi jo hume laga ki kehni chahiye bator artist, humne wo kahi.”
