18 November, Nayanthara's birthday, the makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna's NBH 111 have announced that the actress will play Queen in the period drama, creating excitement among fans. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, and produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, the announcement was made through a motion poster, which featured a picture of Nayanthara.

The film, which is being currently referred to as #NBK111, was officially announced on the lead actor's birthday earlier this year. The motion poster revealed that the film will have an official launch on 26 November. The film marks Balakrishna’s second collaboration with blockbuster maker Gopichand Malineni, following their sensational hit, 'Veera Simha Reddy'. Backed by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, who is currently producing the ambitious Pan-India project 'Peddi', #NBK111 will be mounted on a grand scale under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, promising a high-budget cinematic spectacle.For the first time ever, director Gopichand Malineni is helming a period drama. Known for delivering commercial blockbusters, Gopichand Malineni, previously worked with Nandamuri Balakrishna in Veera Simha Reddy which released in 2023. Meanwhile Nayanthara and Nandamuri Balakrishnan worked in Simha and Sri Rama Rajyam.
