Prateik Babbar tied the knot with Priya Banerjee last year after a long relationship. The couple took to Instagram and shared the good news with their fans and followers. They even shared a couple of pictures from their wedding ceremony. "I'll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik," their post read. Prateik and Priya wore ethereal ensembles from a special collection by Tarun Tahiliani and Jewellery by Khurana Jewellery House. They were twinning in ivory and gold ensembles. Here's Why Prateik-Priya Tied The Knot On Valentine's Day

Priya shared how Prateik was initially like Joey from FRIENDS, but now, she considers him her best friend, her one and only BFF. The couple also shared that the reason they decided to get married on Valentine's Day is that they are each others friends first and they never wanted to forget that. Priya said, "The main reason we had it on Valentine's Day for him was that we'll never forget our friends. You're really my best friend, and he's like, you are, you are. And then sometimes we're like, dude, you're my only best friend, right now in life, I don't have anybody."

Prateik made his relationship with Priya Instagram official on Valentine's Day last year. He was previously married to Sanya Sagar, but they reportedly parted ways during the lockdown after tying the knot on January 23, 2019.

Personal And Professional Front

On the professional front, Prateik was recently seen in Khwaabon Ka Jhamela alongside Sayani Gupta. The film features Prateik as Zubin, a finance whiz who is calculative about everything, and Sayani as Ruby, a spirited intimacy coordinator with a few tricks up her sleeve. It is directed by Danish Aslam.

On the personal front, Prateik surprised fans by officially changing his name to Prateik Smita Patil, paying tribute to his late mother and veteran actress.
