Several celebrities, including producer JD Majethia, attended his funeral. The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai producer revealed Satish Shah was 'fit'.

JD Majethia recalls last interaction with Satish Shah

While interacting with news agency ANI, JD Majethia expressed grief over Satish Shah's death. The Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai producer said, "This is a big loss. He was a very knowledgeable person. I spoke to him the day before yesterday. He was absolutely fit, but we couldn't meet him that day as he said he was very tired and wanted to sleep."

For the unversed, JD Majethia produced Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, where the late actor played Indravadhan Sarabhai. Apart from JD, his show's star cast Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan, Rajesh Kumar and Ratna Pathak Shah attended Satish Shah's funeral. Satish Shah's last message to Sachin Pilgaonkar

Meanwhile, in an interview with News18, Sachin Pilgaonkar revealed he got a text message from Satish Shah just few hours before his death. The actor revealed, "In fact, I received a message from him at 12:56 pm today, which means that he was absolutely fine even at that time. That I’m in shock is an understatement. Industry ka loss toh hua hi aur woh baat alag hai (It's not only industry's loss), it’s a very, very big personal loss to me."May Satish Shah's soul rest in peace!
