Kayadu Lohar Turns Emotional Addressing Reports Of Controversy: I Am Not Okay With It

Lohar, has become a popular name among film buffs in 2025, after he Tamil film debut Dragon starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead. The actor was flooded with appreciation after the film's release, and landed more film offers including the upcoming Pallichattambi , Funky and STR 49. Despite the praise, Kayadu Lohar found herself in controversy when reports spoke about her involvement in the TASMAC, ED Probe case. Now, in a recent chat with a media portal, Kayadu has addressed these rumours.

Kayadu Lohar Breaks Down While Addressing Reports Of Controversy

Earlier this year reports surfaced that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating Kayadu Lohar's connection with the Tasmac liquor scam case, which involves alleged large-scale corruption and money laundering. Alleged payment for appearances where she was paid Rs 35 lakh by people involved in this fraudulent network to attend parties hosted by them was also reported. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Kayadu Lohar's team didn't share a clarification. However, now in an interview to Behindhoods, Kayadu Lohar turned emotional while sharing about how she felt when her name began doing the rounds.

She said "I don't come from this background, I never knew that it would hit be so hard. I could not fall asleep at nights, I just wanted to know why this happened to me. I just wanted to be good to people. Then I wanted to know why people spoke this way about me. I know I come from a film background...but I am not okay with it. I am being frank. May be some handle it beautifully. This is a real person you are talking about, so its better if one can be kind to people.'
