Bigg Boss 19: Anupamaa's Sagar Parekh Supports Co-Star Gaurav Khanna, Says 'Contestants Se Zyada...' - EXCL

Anupamaa actor Sagar Parekh has come out in strong support of co-star Gaurav Khanna after the latter’s stardom was questioned on Bigg Boss 19. In an exclusive interview with Telly Talk India, Sagar rooted

Sagar Defends Gaurav Khanna’s Stardom

Speaking about Gaurav to Telly Talk India, Sagar said, "Gaurav comes out from the same show from where I come from Anupamaa and he has a huge fan base so it doesn't matter contestants speak about him, 'maine apko kabhi dekha nahi' (I have never seen you). India mein bahut saare log hai jinhone Tom Cruise ko nahi dekha hoga (There are many people in India who may have never seen Tom Cruise), that doesn't mean that he is not a star or superstar. Sabki apni apni khasiyat hoti hain (Everyone has their own qualities), sabki apni fan base hoti hai (Everyone has their own fan base), kuch social media pe famous hote hain (Some are famous on social media), kuch TV pe hote hain (Some are famous on TV). It's better not to degrade anyone and not to put down anyone."He added, "I think Bigg Boss ek aisa show hain jahan pe apki personality test hoti hain (Bigg Boss is a show where your personality is tested), aap aise conditions mein bhi kitne door jaate ho (how far you go even under difficult conditions), and this is what audience judges you on. Isme nuksaan bolne vale ka hi hota hain (It always backfires on the one who speaks negatively), audience janti hain tab hi toh vo iss show mein hai (The audience knows everything, that's why he is in the show)."

“This Season, Bigg Boss Is Playing More Than the Contestants”

Commenting on the ongoing season, Sagar shared, "This season is a good season because saare contestants apne hisaab se acha khel rahe hain (all contestants are playing well in their own way), and iss baar kaafi Bigg Boss ki taraf se twists hain (there are many twists from Bigg Boss' side) ki itne strong contestants bahar ho rahe hain (that so many strong contestants are being evicted). Baseer also went out, vo bhi shocking tha (that was also shocking) ki Awez bahar hogaye (that Awez got evicted). This season is full of surprises, aap kuch keh nahi sakte kon kab kahan bahar chala jaye (you can’t predict who may go out at any time). Sagar Roots for Gaurav to Win Bigg Boss 19

Expressing his support for Gaurav, Sagar said, "Main day 1 se support kar raha hoon unhe (I have been supporting him since day one). He is like a family to me and senior bhi hai mere as an actor (and he is also my senior as an actor). Bahut kuch seekha hain (I have learned a lot from him) and kaafi time bitaya hain Anupamaa mein do-dhai saal sath mein kaam kiya hai (We’ve spent a lot of time together; we worked for two to two and a half years on Anupamaa). I'm really close to him and I know him personally so I'm sure he'll be the winner."During the ration and captaincy task, Gaurav Khanna was called to the app room and given a tough choice by Bigg Boss, either secure his own captaincy or allow Shehbaz Badesha to take over. Choosing himself came with consequences: only 30% weekly ration and the entire house being nominated for eviction. Gaurav still chose his captaincy.
