Lokah Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan Makes Special Wish; Thanks Fans For Showering Love On Her Birthday

After a couple of days, the actress shared a gratitude note on her X handle thanking fans for making her birthday even more special by showering love on her. Kalyani also made a special wish in which she mentioned that she wants to grow and do better in her life and career. Her X post is going viral on social media, and netizens are now speculating about a new update of her upcoming projects. For the unversed, Lokah turned out to be the biggest hit of filmmaker Priyadarshan’s daughter’s life.

Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Special Birthday Wish

In an X post, Kalyani Priyadarshan expressed her feelings towards her well-wishers and said that she is blessed to be surrounded by her loved ones. The actress wrote, “Thank you to everyone who wished me for my birthday 🤍 I spent the weekend surrounded by family and love, and came online to even more of it from all of you. I’m so grateful. My wish this year is to grow, to do better, and to be worthy of the love you show me.” (sic)

Kalyani Priyadarshan has become a popular name in India after her superhero action film, Lokah, turned out to be a big hit. The film was also dubbed in Hindi for the North audience, and fans just loved Kalyani’s performance in the film, which also stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Kalyani is also the reason behind Mithila Palkar’s casting her father, Priyadarshan's next directorial venture, Bhooth Bangla. Mithila shared a video of her from the sets of the film with director Priyadarshan. She thanked Kalyani Priyadarshan for recommending her name to the director for Bhooth Bangla. While reacting to her note, Kalyani wrote, “Listen! All I told my dad was that I’m a fan! I didn’t do anything more. And I can’t wait to see you in the film!”

Kalyani Priyadarshan was born in 1993 to filmmaker Priyadarshan and actress Lissy. She started her career in 2013 as an assistant production designer under Sabu Cyril in the Hindi film Krrish 3. She made her acting debut with the 2017 Telugu film Hello opposite Akhil Akkineni. She has also acted in films like Chiralahari, Ranarangam, Maanaaadu, Bro Daddy, Antony, Lokah Chapter 1 – Chandra, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira and so on.
