This made it simpler to keep track of unfinished thoughts and avoid forgetting important messages. Now, the popular messaging platform is bringing this concept to the Status section.According to a report from WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp, some beta testers can now see a new option inside the status editor that lets them save any unfinished update. With the new feature, the status editor itself becomes a workspace where drafts can be saved without publishing or sending anything.WhatsApp has also made saving drafts easy.

According to the report, a new save button appears at the top of the editor, and tapping it stores the draft in the user’s gallery so they can come back and finish it anytime. If someone tries to leave the editor using the back button, WhatsApp may show a message asking whether they want to discard the update or save it as a draft. This helps prevent users from losing their work by mistake, especially when switching between apps.The status draft feature is not yet available for everyone and WhatsApp is still testing how it works across different devices.
