The nation is proudly celebrating Republic Day today, commemorating the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The Constitution came into effect on January 26, 1950. On the occasion of Republic Day, actor Pravin Dabas, who has starred in films such as State Of Siege: Temple Attack, Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, Y.M.I. Yeh Mera India, stated that the nation should come first for every citizen of the country. He also shared a message of Swacch Bharat (Clean India) and said it is our responsibility to keep our country clean. Endorsing the Clean India Movement, the actor shared that he feels really bad when educated people throw things on road, thinking it's not their responsibility to maintain cleanliness, however, as citizens of the country, it is our duty
to keep surroundings clean.
Pravin Dabas' special message to fans on 77th Republic Day
In an exclusive chat with us, the
Khosla Ka Ghosla actor was asked to share a message to his fans on Republic Day 2026. He responded, "I would say, we have to keep the country above everything else. The country comes first, religion comes second. I would put my family above religion. So I would think country, family, religion. We are all here because of our country. It gives us a lot. So, we have to be there for our country and we should not get stuck up in the interpretation of religion by people, because at the end of the day. It is interpreted by people with, all kinds of agendas. So your country always has to come first. That is what I would say. "
Pravinn Dabas endorses Clean India Movement
He went on to share, "Even as entertainers, I feel we are serving the nation. And the country is going ahead, we all have to do our bit. I would like to tell everyone to spread the message of 'Swacch Bharat'. (Clean India).
Mujhe bohot bura lagta hai jab educated log cheezein sadak par fenk dete hai, aur unko lagta hai ki ye humara kaam nahi hai. Humara hi kaam hai desh ko saaf rakhna. We all have to work together to keep India clean.
