Peddi, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani was originally slated for release on March 27, 2026, the film was later pushed to April 30, 2026. Speculation about another delay began circulating after a viral video featuring producer SKN suggested that Peddi might release on June 26, 2026.

This created confusion among fans, many of whom were eagerly awaiting official confirmation. However, it was later revealed that the statement was the result of a misunderstanding during a public event. Putting all rumors to rest, Ram Charan addressed the issue while promoting his cousin Niharika Konidela's film Raakaasaa. He confirmed that Peddi is going as planned and remains on track for its April 30, 2026 release. He also said that the talkie portions of the film have been completed. SKN and Sai Rajesh Issue Clarifications
