Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati's work fronts
On the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently seen in
Bhooth Bangla, alongside Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film has been performing decently at the box office. But reviews have been mixed. One person said that some jump scares work well, but the story loses its grip in the second half because the time-travel angle is too complicated. The chemistry between Akshay, Tabu, and Jisshu Sengupta was also seen as weak, with the humor being more loud and old-fashioned than sharp and interesting.Akshay also has
Haiwaan lined up, where he will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan.
On the other hand, Rana Daggubati is still connected to a number of projects. People are still talking about whether or not he will be in Jai Hanuman, the sequel to the 2024 hit HanuMan with Rishab Shetty. Reports say he might have a big part, but we still don't have official word on that. The film is expected to go on floors sometime around March or April 2026 and will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with T-Series on a grand scale. How excited are you for Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati's upcoming project?
