On February 11, the couple held a naamkaran (naming) ceremony at their home in Hyderabad and revealed that they have named the twins, Shivram and Anveera Devi. Ram and Upsana are already parents to their daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, who was born on June 20, 2023. They have been married since June 2012. Overjoyed grandparent, superstar Chiranjeevi had proudly announced the birth of the twins on social media the next day.

RRR star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana had a traditional naamkaran ceremony at home along with a pooja, which was attended by their close family and friends. According to a report in Variety India, the couple has named their newborn twins Shivram and Anveera Devi. Their three-year-old daughter also Klin Kaara also has a unique name and their twins are no different.

Meaning of the names

The couple also shared a statement explaining why they chose the names. According to Ram Charan, the naming process was deeply personal and spiritual. They consulted their parents on the naming journey. For their son Shivram, the name is combination of Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. The actor revealed that Shivram also carries forward his grandfather's name with Shiv Shankar Vara Prasad.

For their daughter Anveera Devi, the name Veera signifying bravery is joined with an signifying limitless. It is a combination of courage and feminine strength as Devi has been added at the end. Ram shared that their twins' names are "aspirations of strength, love and courage."

After a week of having her twins, Shivram and Anveera Devi, Upasana stated that she felt very fulfilled watch all her three children together.
