is all set to come up with his next Telugu film, The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, it is a fantasy horror comedy flick which is releasing on January 9, 2026, in theatres. The Raja Saab has three leading ladies – Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar. The Telugu film is one of the most anticipated films of 2026, which is set to release before Sankranti. As we all know, Prabhas has been working in the industry for more than 23 years. However, he became popular in India after featuring in SS Rajamouli’s pan-India film, Baahubali. So before The Raja Saab release, let’s have a look at Prabhas’ box office report card of his last five films.

Kalki 2898 AD

Prabhas featured in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi mythological epic, Kalki 2898 AD, in the lead role. Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in key roles. Kalki 2898 AD received mixed to positive responses from the masses. Owing to its solid buzz before the release, the pan-India project managed to mint big numbers at the box office. According to a Sacnilk report, Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD has collected Rs 646.31 crore in India. The makers will be coming up with the second installment of Kalki 2898 AD. However, Deepika Padukone has been ousted from part 2.

Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire

Prabhas made his debut in the Kannada film industry with the Prashanth Neel-directed film, Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire. The film was produced by KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur under his banner, Hombale Films. Salaar also starred Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. Like Prabhas’ earlier films, Salaar was also in the news for several reasons. Due to its great promotion and buzz, the film minted Rs 406.45 crore at the domestic box office, as reported by Sacnilk.

Adipurush

Adipurush was considered as one of the most ambitious projects in Bollywood. Directed by Om Raut, the recreation of Ramayana turned out to be a box office disaster. Prabhas played the role of Lord Rama in the film. Also starring Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali as Janaki and Lankesh, respectively, Adipurush was highly criticised for its representation of epic characters and actors’ performances. According to Sacnilk, Adipurush collected Rs 288.15 crore at the domestic box office.

Radhe Shyam

Radhe Shyam was a love story in which Prabhas played the lead role opposite Pooja Hegde. The Telugu film was also released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film turned out to be a box office failure. According to the Sacnilk report, Radhe Shyam could only manage to earn Rs 104 crore in India. It was declared a flop by Box Office India. For the unversed, Radhe Shyam also starred Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Kunal Roy Kapoor and others in pivotal roles.

Saaho

Saaho was quite a special film for Prabhas fans. It was the film released after the humongous success of Baahubali: The Conclusion. Released in 2019, Saaho got a mixed response from the masses. Due to Prabhas’ solid fan following, the film became a hit at the box office. However, it didn’t get enough love from the masses. Saaho also starred Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arjun Vijay, Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Prakash Belawadi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi, Lal, Tinnu Anand, Evelyn Sharma, Ravi Varma and others in key roles. According to Sacnilk’s report, Saaho received a lukewarm response from the masses. Eventually, the film ended its theatrical run by minting Rs 310.60 crore at the domestic box office. Well, Prabhas didn’t get enough success after delivering all-time blockbuster films like Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. The actor is still looking forward to delivering a mega hit for many years. Baahubali - The Epic was released a few months ago in theatres and it received a solid response from the masses. The epic version collected Rs 33.48 crore at box office in India. Talking about The Raja Saab, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Jisshu Sengupta, Brahmanandam, VTV Ganesh, Satya, Prabhas Sreenu, Yogi Babu, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and others in key roles.
