With her first nomination, Aura V has made history as the youngest winner at the Grammy Awards. The eight-year-old is part of the father-daughter duo Fyütch and Aura V and picked up a win in the main awards
ceremony for Best Children’s Music Album. The young artist, who is eight years and seven months old, broke the previous record for the youngest individually credited Grammy winner. That record was held by Leah Peasall, who was eight years and ten months old when she won her Grammy. Leah is a part of the Peasall Sisters, and they won for their Grammy for the O Brother, Where Art Thou? film soundtrack. Hannah Peasall was 11, and Sarah was 14. Jay-Z and Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, was another young achiever after she won an award for Best Music Video in 2021. The nine-year-old was a featured artist on the song Brown Skin Girl.

The Music Of Tori And The Muses in their category. Before Aura V and Blue Ivy Carter, LeAnn Rimes was the youngest individual Grammy winner at 14 years old. At the 39th Grammy Awards in 1997, she won Best New Artist and Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

Grammys 2026 red carpet, the father-daughter pair, twinning in pastel outfits, revealed that they had been listening to songs from Olivia Dean, Kehlani, and Leon Thomas. The newly minted Grammy winner Aura V gave a shout-out to another winner for the night, Laufey, in her speech and congratulated the singer for her win for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Her father had to lift her up to reach the microphone and give her speech.

Their album
Harmony is a family collaboration. Simmons' father also played on the album. The album was commissioned by the Wolf Trap Center for the Arts in Virginia. Simmons also has an independent music career, while Aura is in the third standard at school. The collaboration has allowed their relationship to become stronger.
