The Jana Nayagan actor is expected to become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu after his political party, TVK won 108 seats in polls. Amidst all, Jana Nayagan’s title card video is currently going viral on social media, in which the fans are seen celebrating in the theatre as Thalapathy Vijay is seen introduced as the ‘Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’ in the film. Well, there is no confirmation whether the clip is authentic or not, but it has surely brought a smile to Vijay fans’ faces.

In the viral clip, the actor-turned-politician is seen being introduced as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister – C Joseph Vijay in Jana Nayagan. The title card of an unreleased film is going viral on social media, in which the fans are seen celebrating the moment inside the theatre after Vijay’s name flashed on the big screen as the CM of Tamil Nadu.

Well, the actor is yet to take an oath as chief minister of the Tamil-speaking state. Moreover, the Jana Nayagan release date is also not yet announced. Hence, one can’t give an actual surety about the viral clip’s genuineness.

What Happened To Jana Nayagan?

Jana Nayagan was supposed to be released in theatres on January 9, 2026. However, the censor board didn’t give the film a clearance certificate and asked the makers to make some changes in the film. After that, the makers KVN Productions fought a legal battle with the censor board in the Madras High Court and Supreme Court. However, they didn’t get success in it.

Eventually, the makers agreed to make the changes in the film, but now, the revisiting committee has not yet watched the revised version of Jana Nayagan. Ahead of the elections, the film also got leaked on TV and online. The makers took strict action against the miscreants and asked people not to watch it on their phones. Now, many netizens feel that after the election results, the film will be out soon. It has to be noted that Jana Nayagan's makers are yet to announce the release date of the film. Directed by H Vinoth, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, Nassar, Sunil, Reba Monica John and others in key roles.
