As per The Wall Street Journal, Meta’s AI agent can answer customer questions, schedule appointments and even help complete the sales without human intervention. During a conference in London, the company CEO Zuckerberg said that the goal of Meta is to make AI agents capable of running your businesses. Meta believes that the future versions of the agent could conduct market research, track the business competitors and connect the business tools such as calendars and scheduling

platforms.“As our models advance, your agent will take on more and eventually help you run your whole business,” said the Meta chief.

How AI Agents Can Change Meta’s Business

This launch could change how Meta’s business has worked for years. It majorly relied on traditional advertising revenue. The tech giant made most of its money by selling digital ads to businesses targeting consumers. Meta is now focusing on subscription services and enterprise products as potential growth areas.

Notably, Meta is also reportedly gearing up to introduce a separate AI agent platform for larger enterprises that use WhatsApp for customer operations and support. These businesses will pay based on how much they use the company’s service instead of paying for a subscription.
