Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, Akashdeep was longing for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to return with season two. For that matter, the actor revealed his friends, family and his fans were waiting for KSBKBT 2 to come. "It's a happy feeling and you're part of such an iconic show and people just want you back in that show. People have been wanting me in that show ever since," he said.

In the same conversation, the actor had expressed his wish to be a part of KSBKBT 2. However, the actor was sure that even if he was called for it, it wouldn't have been for Ansh's role. "It would be probably as Eklavya. I'm not sure even about," he had mentioned.
