The family is yet to share an official statement. Zarine remained a constant source of strength in Sanjay's life. Their enduring bond saw them weather many storms together, including the devastating fire on the sets of The Sword of Tipu Sultan in 1990, which left the filmmaker with serious burn injuries.Over the years, she transitioned from acting to interior design and earned acclaim for her refined aesthetic sense.
