Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker behind Bollywood's controversial film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, is again making headlines for his next with Prabhas. The news about the anticipated collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Spirit yet again hogs the limelight on social media, as the reports suggest that the production has encountered a minor setback due to an accident on set. According to a report by Telugu 360, the set of Spirit caught fire, leaving a crew member with minor injuries. Reportedly, tents and some other materials on the set also caught fire and were partially burned.

Spirit marks Prabhas' first collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and is touted as a high-voltage action drama. The actor will be seen playing an IPS officer, and an audio story glimpse released earlier showcased a gripping exchange between Prabhas and Prakash Raj. With Vivek Oberoi also part of the cast, the team is reportedly taking extra precautions to prevent leaks of Prabhas’ intense new look.

Also, amid the ongoing shoot of Spirit, Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga watched Dhurandhar 2 at Allu Arjun-owned theatre in Hyderabad. The audience watching the movie leaked pictures on social media. Prabhas and Sandeep went to watch Dhurandhar 2 on Wednesday late night. The director was seen in a simple kurta, whereas the actor wore all black. They were seated in the top row, watching the film with the rest of the audience. Spirit is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ambitious project, which will feature Prabhas and Triptii Dimri opposite each other. Alongside action, the film is expected to explore a layered emotional track and a compelling romantic angle between the actor and Triptii. After Spirit, Prabhas will be seen in Fauzi, a period drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Spirit is set to release in eight languages. Produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner, it will hit the screens on March 5, 2027. After calling it a wrap on Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will start the process of writing for his much-awaited project, Animal Park.
