In an industry where there’s a lot to gain and lose, actors must learn to either fight or manifest for fate to be on their side. Chitrangda Singh speaks about powerplays in film industry
Talking to Zoom and sharing her insights into internal politics and power games, Chitrangda said more powerful people always stand between the person’s progress. “It will always happen. In this industry, there is so much to gain and lose. Whenever you’re in a place where there’s fame and a lot more to gain, there will be so many people standing in between. As the stakes go up, there will be people standing in between. Either you have to fight or have fate by your side to go through,” Singh said.When asked whether it was fate or fight in her journey, Chitrangda added, “In my case, it was both. You have to rely on both. Ek se kuch nahi hoga. You have to fight and depend on fate that it works out.”
Chitrangda Singh's projects in 2025
Chitrangda had four releases in 2025. She featured in the Indo-Italian film titled Parikrama along with Housefull 5, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter and Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders. In the Netflix film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte, the actress played the role of Meera Bansal. The movie is set around her son’s death anniversary rituals. She is one of the suspects, as most members of the family were murdered brutally.
