Scammers on social media often use emotional stories and fake images to draw the attention of netizens into sending money. A few days ago, a scammer on X (formerly Twitter) shared an image of an woman claiming he was in desperate need of help after her mother died and tagged GV Prakash Kumar, asking for money. GV Prakash thoughtful gesture on his post, eventually resulted in him losing Rs 20,000. After the fraud was exposed, the person who received the money reportedly stopped answering calls.

GV Prakash Scammed: Fans Express Shock, Ask Netizens To Be Careful

After the scam was exposed, fans expressed shock, and asked people not to take advantageof GV Prakash's kindness. "Wtf just because he helps everyone, don’t take this as a chance to loot his money. If this continues, he may stop helping even those who truly need it. Stop scamming. And @gvprakash bro please file a complaint if he doesn’t return the money ASAP."
