Thakur is currently promoting her new movie Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, co-starring Adivi Sesh. Amid the promotions, Mrunal went to a podcast where she talked deeply about her ‘sisterhood’ with actress Tamannaah Bhatia. As her film is set to release tomorrow, 10th April, Mrunal shared about her warm and loving bond with the industry mate and opened about how few friendships especially female ones, leave a never-ending attachment. She also shared how they both met and why this bond is special.
‘Behens' Mrunal and Tamannaah’s Bond
Mrunal and Tamannaah prove to be close as they support each other not just in happy times but times when they truly need someone, showing up on times. She said that they both met on a flight to Hyderabad and became ‘Behens’ (sisters) later on. “I can be just completely unfiltered with her. I can just say anything, like, 'Yaar, this happened' and she'll always have a solution for everything.” Mrunal reminisced.
Definition Of ‘Sisterhood’ For Mrunal
Mrunal Thakur, in a recent interview with famous internet podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, talked about how she has been craving for female friendships her whole life as she tells how growing-up she never had any girl-friends, she looked back on how she always thought and believed that she will not be able to make female friends ever. Mrunal was always the only girl in a group- “there would be five boys and only one girl, that would be me” she added. Mrunal emphasised how she has started to enjoy girl-friendships, and it has proved to be beautiful for her. When asked- What are girl-friendships, Mrunal expressed that it’s just motivating each other, having fun and enjoying life with celebrating oneself, proving that it’s simple yet impactful.

Mrunal will soon be seen back on big screens and her latest movie Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha is making headlines. Shaneil Deo’s film is an intense love story filled with action. The film follows the story of two former lovers who come face to face in a series of bank robberies. Hari (Adivi), the male protagonist escapes prison to take his vengeance from his better half (Mrunal) as she betrayed him, as depicted in the trailer.The film has ensemble cast of Adivi Sesh, Anurag Kashyap, Zayn Marie Khan, Prakash Raj, Sunil and Atul Kulkarni along with Mrunal Thakur. Shaneil Deo, Adivi Sesh and Yash Eshawari are associated with the film as writers too. The film will be releasing in Telugu and Hindi and is a pan-India flick.
